Hari baru, mata belum nak lelap. Dah lebih seminggu kelas, now aku faham style deduction kat sini macam mana. Minggu pertama pening wei, sistem kat kolej ni totally different kalau nak compare dengan sistem kat uni. Mau tak, panjang satu-satu semester is 6 months, dengan daily class adalah fixed from 8-5. Sama macam masa bekerja.
The next surprise is tutorial session. Kalau kat uni, tutorial session ni adalah masa yang ko akan bincang latihan yang lecturer dah bagi sebelum tu untuk disiapkan. Kat sini, tutorial is more or less A QUIZ, which the marks will be taken into account bila ko accumulate carry mark nanti. First tutorial semua orang dah terkena, dengan fast teaching, tak sempat salin notes and nak tunggu nota fotostat lembab ya amat!! The next tutorials, hehe.. dah pandai okeh.
So far yang aku perasan last week is every class, pengajar akan habiskan satu chapter untuk kelas sepanjang 2 jam. Naik sewel aku mula-mula tu, but now dah faham style kat sini. The only concern now is how to get my hand on a set of questions example. Mana nak cekau pun aku tak sure. Ada tak ada pun, bantai le jawab soalan kat belakang each chapter yang dah selesai. Kadang tu yang tak masuk dalam silibus pun aku hentam sama. Mana tak biul jadinya!!
Schedule tak sama sepanjang semester, every week a new schedule akan keluar. One thing about the schedule is the topic and time as well as the pengajar is subject to changes. Kena get ready everyday. Kalau nak cepat catch up dengan topic of the day, prepare. Read the whole topic sebelum kelas, so that anything yang terasa tak berapa nak faham tu boleh tanya dalam kelas. Mind you, aku yang paling tua dalam kelas ni. Bayangkan nak keep up dengan fresh young mind..
Pengajar will be hard on you, yang tu aku nampak on the very first week. You don't speak to them as if they are your friends. Tapi aku tak kisah sangat kot bila diorang demand high level of respect. Most of them came here with years and years of experience. They've had their share on the hard time, and they survived. So the respect they demand is well earned. And they are so up to date with the current technology and knowledge. Lagi ko nak bangkang? Luku kepala nak?
Eh, dah dulu la. Aku nak tido, sok nak bangun sahur lagi. Tomorrow kitorang akan start amali. Till then.
